Reiki for People

General Information about Reiki Treatments:

Reiki is the art of activating and balancing the life force energy that is within everyone and everything in the universe. As Reiki energy is entered through hands-on or distance treatments, the body is able to begin the healing it needs on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Since Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive form of energy healing, it is a great way to reduce stress and pain, and to create deep levels of relaxation. It complements and enhances all other healing modalities.

Judy's intuition adds depth to her Reiki energy healing. She connects with her guides, and often the client’s, who provide information and clarity about the  person's situation. She may receive images, words or phrases that speak to the client.  During one client's treatment, for example, she received an image of shiny stones near the water. The client recognized the image as a special place where she collected stones, and felt called to return there to benefit her healing.

Rates:

Office Visit: $60 per hour

Distance Treatment: $35 per treatment

Benefits:

  • Reiki goes to the source or root cause of the injury, illness or pain. Rather   than treating symptoms, the Reiki energy activates your Inner Healer, healing and balancing all the energy systems of your body.
     

  • Reiki brings the body into harmony by clearing blockages in all the body’s energy systems. 
     

  • Reiki help minimize one’s sense of helplessness in facing disease or trauma. A person may feel the support of both the practitioner and the Divine Spirit in facing a difficult time.
     

  • Physical illness may be a soul lesson from the Universe, and Reiki may bring clarity and acceptance. Rather than being a “cure,” Reiki may help provide the spiritual means to better manage the physical illness.
     

  • Reiki complements medical treatment for serious illnesses like cancer. It may help alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy or other treatments or surgeries.
     

  • Reiki may bring lightness, balance and a sense of well-being to one who receives it. Open yourself to the experience of joy!

In-Person Treatments:

For people who live in the Greater Portland area, Judy schedules treatments at her office in Scarborough, Maine. A Reiki session begins with a confidential client interview, to better understand the client's situation and their goals for the Reiki treatments. The client then lies on a massage table, fully dressed, while Judy places her hands in healing positions on or over the body. There are standard hand positions for Reiki healing, and Judy is also guided by her intuition as to where to place her hands and how long to hold the position. The Reiki energy always goes to where it is most needed. Clients find the treatment puts them into a state of deep relaxation.

Clients often benefit from a series of treatments for the condition or situation which brings them to the practitioner. Judy will consult with you about what works best for you in terms of convenience, benefit, and cost. In-person treatments alternated with distance healing is also an option.

Distance Healing Treatments:

Reiki energy may be guided to a person anywhere, as long as a request is made and the Soul is willing to receive. Once Judy receives your permission, she can channel the Reiki energy to the person, since the Source knows who and where you are.

To set up a treatment, email Judy to let her know for whom the distance healing is intended, what the situation is, and how long it has been going on. Payment should be made prior to the session.

A distance healing treatment will take about a half hour. Judy will email you when she intends to do the treatment, as you will want to hold that time aside for yourself if possible. She will go into meditation and channel the Reiki energy to you. Afterwards she will contact you by email and communicate any insights, images or other guidance that came to her during the treatment. Judy would also like to hear from you about your experience, as well as answer any questions you may have. Remember, though the healing begins immediately, it may take time for you to experience changes or benefits. A follow-up session can be beneficial.
